Every year the Biondolillo family sit down at their tasting table in the barrel room of the winery and togther they sample the wine from every single barrel. Each is ranked in comparision to the others and the very best three barrels are chosen to go into this very special wine. This vintage is 100% Malbec. 
 
Following the fermentation and a long maceration period, this wine was aged for 12 months in a mixture of 90% French oak and 10% American oak barrels. It was then bottle aged for at least another 12 months.
 
This is a wine for very special occasions, it should be decanted at least an hour before serving to be fully appreciated. It will also continue to age beautifully and will keep for at least 10 years.
