Antucura Grand Vin

£43.00Price
  • Type: Red

Grape: 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec

    Year: 2018

    ABV: 14.5%

    Region: Valle de Uco, Mendoza

Food: Bordeaux blend in style and therefore an ideal food pair with red meat dishes, ideally fine steaks. If there is still some left when the cheese board comes out, the oaky notes and blue / red berry flavours from the merlot and malbec will love stronger cheeses. For vegans, well spiced mushroom wellingtons and drier lighter spiced curries are ideal. We highly recommend the Grand Vin is decanted for at least an hour before enjoying.

Tasting Notes: This is a big wine with bold mature tannins still intact and good acidity. Tastes include blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and liquorice as well as dark spices with the oak toastiness coming through.
