In this case you'll find three lovely white wines alongside three gorgeous reds. Only one is a Malbec so this selection shows off the fact that there is more to Argentina than just that well know grape

Aranwa Torrontes

One of the best Eastern Mendoza Torrontes. The grapes were handpicked in early February from a vineyard in Santa Rosa then carefully fermented at low temperatures in small steel tanks to preserve the character of the Torrontes. This wine has a bright straw yellow colour with silver tints. The floral aroma of roses and violets really comes through on the nose, delicately balanced with bright but delicate acidity and mineral tones.

Antucura Barrandica Sauvignon Blanc

The Sauvignon Blanc grapes that make this wonderfully fresh and fruity wine are from a vineyard located in Choele Choel, Middle Valley of Rio Negro, Patagonia. Handpicked, sorted, and then pressed without destemming; fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeast. No wood contact at any stage and three months rest in the bottle.

Aranwa Reserve Chardonnay

100% Chardonnay from the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The grapes were harvested in the last week of February then destemmed and crushed before fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks for 30 days at 16°C. Some light vanilla flavours from 5 months of ageing in oak barrels.

Accuro Clasico Malbec

The grapes were handpicked in March from two vineyards located near Tunuyan in the Uco Valley. Unlike in other years the winemaker has aged all the wine in oak barrels for 9 months and then bottled it and allowed to age further. This is a delicious wine that can be enjoyed with or without food, we recommend that you give it around 30 minutes to breathe and open up after pulling the cork.

Antucura Barrandica Cabernet Franc

These Cabernet Franc grapes are from a vineyard located at 1,050m above sea level in the Uco Valley. The limestone soil, warm summers and low annual rainfall make for excellent growing conditions.

This wine had no oak ageing to ensure that all the fruit flavours come through, it gives a fabulous sensation of sweetness due to the silky and ripe tannins. A wine to enjoy to the end.

Tempus Alba Syrah

A Syrah lovers delight! Made from 100% Syrah grapes, hand-picked at the end of March. After pressing and fermentation, this wine was aged for 6 months in a mix of 70% French and 30% American new oak barrels, giving it great structure and a subtle hint of vanilla. 6 months rest in the bottle allowed this wine’s complexity to fully develop.
