Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, picked in early March, from 50-year-old vines. The wine was aged for 6 months in a mix of 70% French and 30% American oak barrels. 12 months rest in the bottle allows this wine to develop to its full potential. This wine is big, yet subtle – the mark of exquisite winemaking, and superb quality.

Region: Maipú, Mendoza
Food: Tomato based dishes and herbs including rosemary, thyme and sage are an ideal pair for this wine, as are roast vegetables and Italian meals containing parmesan, tomatoes and mushrooms. Meats such as beef, lamb, pork and game are perfect also partners.
Tasting Notes: Good structure and great complexity in this Tempranillo with well balanced tannins and a rich red-purple colour. The nose holds pepper and tobacco with a touch of dill and vanilla, while the flavours burst through with black berries and cinnamon. The tannins will soften even further with ageing.
