A very special, special occassion wine.

Made from 100% Malbec grapes, grown in the vineyards of Tupungato, Mendoza using the traditional Champagne method. The wine is put into bottles with a little yeast and sugar and stored in cellars for a second fermentation in the bottle that creates the fizz. It was left on the lees for 16 months.

A high quality sparkling Malbec that is extremely popular.

At blind wine tastings events, up against some well known champagane rosés, this was by far the favourite.

We have a fantastic 5 for 6 offer on this wine. Check out our cases section for details.

Rutini Trumpeter Sparkling Rose de Malbec

  • Type: Sparkling Rosé Extra Brut

    Grape: Malbec

    Year: 2016

    ABV: 12.7%

    Region: Tupungato, Mendoza

Food: This classy wine was made to party. It's perfect as an apertif or with most canapes including smoked salmon belinis. It would also be a great breakfast sparkling wine with scrambled eggs and salmon bagels for that special occasion.

Tasting Notes: Less acidic than some rose champagnes. Tastes of  strawberries, raspberries and cherries with hints of orange citrus and toast. A mid to light pink colour with lots of long lasting bubbles.
