The Lagarde Malbec is the flagship wine from the Bodega Lagarde winery and the grapes were harvested from vineyards of different ages (planted 1906, 1930, & 1995) in Lujan de Cuyo.
50% of the wine was aged in oak barrels for 8-10 months (80% French and 20% American). This is a beautifully balanced wine showing great structure and complexity that will certainly age for over 5 more years.
