The Lagarde Malbec is the flagship wine from the Bodega Lagarde winery and the grapes were harvested from vineyards of different ages (planted 1906, 1930, & 1995) in Lujan de Cuyo. This is a beautifully balanced wine showing great structure and complexity that will certainly age for over 5 more years.

Region: Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza
Food: A lovely Malbec that will pair superbly with grilled meats or pasta dishes, and big pizzas on a Thursday night spring to mind.
Tasting Notes: Intense violet red, with lots of ripe red fruit aromas and flavours. There are also notes of vanilla and smokey scents; beautifully balanced and a long smooth long finish.
