Bodega Lagarde was first established in 1897 and has been managed by the Pescarmona family since 1970. The Guarda Vineyards Collection is a high end wine with only a limited release.

This wine is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from vineyards located in four different areas of Mendoza; some first planted back in 1906. The wine has been aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and then allowed to rest for a further 12 months in the bottle before being relased onto the market. It will age beaufifully for over 10 years, if you can wait that long.
