The term Grand Cru refers to Champagne originating from one of only 17 villages in the Champagne region. Bernard Pertois is a small family business producing Champagne in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil sur Oger for ten generations with the vineyard dating back to 1650. The Chardonnay grapes were handpicked from the oldest vines and the wine was made in small traditional steel vats. This champagne is a blend of three vintages, it is 78% of the 2015 with 11% from 2014 and 11% 2013.
