100% Chardonnay from the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The grapes were destemmed and crushed before fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks for 30 days at 16°C. Then aged for 4 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels enabling great fruit flavours to come through with a background of butter and honey.
Aranwa Reserve Chardonnay
Region: Uco Valley, Mendoza
Food: This lightly oaked wine matches with salmon, poultry, game and marinated tofu. Its balanced acidity works well with spicey foods containing earthy chilli tastes such as fajitas or padron peppers. The light oak, fruit and balanced acidity also complements creamy goats and brie cheeses.
Tasting Notes: It’s a brilliant golden yellow colour with slight greenish tinge. The Aranwa Chardonnay smells of tropical fruits with a background of citrus and has delicious cantaloupe, apricot and honey flavours with a lingering finish. It has light to medium acidity and very easy to drink.
