Winemaker Sergio Jimenez used Malbec grapes from vineyards in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza to craft this wonderful Malbec. Hand picked from 100 year old vines and aged for 7 months in French oak barrels this wine is everything an Argentinian Malbec should be and at a super price point.
Well known wine critic James Suckling has awarded the Aranwa Reserve Malbec 92 points, recognising the quality of this wine. Enjoy!
Aranwa Malbec Reserve

Food: Beef and lamb are ideal with this Malbec. Or try BBQed sausages and burgers with fried onions and a spicy sauce. Can also work well with richer tomato based dishes topped off with a strong salty cheese such as parmesan.
Tasting Notes: This is a well balanced big bodied Malbec with smooth tannins and a rich medium long finish. An attractive purple red colour with a fruity nose including blackcurrant and cherries plus oak toast.
