A quite superb blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon by one of the best wine makers in Argentina.

The sandy soiled vineyards are located in the Uco Valley where the cool nights and warm days deliver lush fruit. The grapes were hand-picked in April and the wine aged for 26 months in French oak. The 2012 is so good to drink now but will just keep getting better and better for the next 10 years.

This wine is suitable for vegans.

Accūro Gran Accuro de Corte

  • Type: Red

Grape: 77% Malbec 23% Cabernet Sauvignon

    Year: 2012

    ABV: 14.3%

    Region: Uco Valley, Mendoza

Food: Beef, lamb, mushrooms, roasted vegetables. Flavours that pair well include sage, rosemary, thyme, garlic and all strong cheeses. Can also be enjoyed without food.

Tasting Notes: Rich dark purple red colour with slight aging orange tints.  Fabulous nose of tobacco, toast, red and dark fruits, liquorice and quince. The 2012 Gran Accuro's tannins are mellowing beautifully but still retain structure and interest. The finish is long and lush.
