In a way, Bodega Porvenir’s approach is a perfect representation of the philosophy and craft all our Ruta 40 Owners’ Circle members share: a view to the future, rooted in the past.

Bodega Porvenir brings this idea to life is a range of superb wines under two distinct labels: Porvenir and Laborum.

‘Porvenir’ – meaning the future, or what is to come. The newest of the New World wines, the range represents the best to come from the Cafayate area of the Andean region, and the highest fine wines in the world.

The Porvenir label currently offer together four varietals, each with a unique Andean flavour: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Syrah. Our favourite is the little-known Tannat – as wild as a beast and complex as a riddle…

The Laborum label takes us back to the time, dedication and art of making wine. In Latin, the word means ‘from work.’ And it shows. This is true commitment to fine wine.

Laborum offers a fantastic rich range of high-altitude wines that bring new complexity to old favourites and lesser-known varietals: Torrontes, Rosada de Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and the beautiful Cab Sav / Malbec blend.
