Six different bodegas, six different blends.
To start with there is the La Azul Reserve which is 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is aged for 15 months, 30% of it in American and 70% in French oak barrels.
From Antucura there is a wine made from 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Malbec. The wine has been aged for 12 months in French oak barrels prior to bottle ageing for another 6 months
The AVE Julius Caesar contains a unique blend of the very best selection of 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Malbec grapes from our vineyard in Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo.
Porvenir have used 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon in the Amauta II. Aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for 12 months and then rested in the bottle for another year. Awarded 90 Parker points this is an outstanding wine.
The Tapezio Plus is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Inspired by a right-bank Bordeaux blend, the fruit elements in this wine are more intense than their French cousin, whilst still maintaining real elegance.
Last, but by no means least, we have included the Accuro Inspirado which is made from 74% Malbec and 26% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in French oak for 12 months and left to rest in the bottle for another 10 months. Good to drink now and will only get better with age.
We guarantee you that at least one of these blends will sit firmly in your Top Ten!
